The Broad Sword

Traditionaly this sword was used in battle against heavily armoured opponants with its extra length and weight it was used for chopping and slashing.
Traditionaly this sword with its flexable blade was used for stabbing between the links in the opponants armour,also being so light made it possible to move faster against heavier weapons.
These swords are short range weapons used in defence or attack with their blocking slashing and chopping capabilitys it made them an ideal close quarters weapon!

A more modern weapon, again very usefull for blocking and striking in close quarter situations against armed or unarmed opponents.
Traditionally associated with the monks this weapon is used for breaking bones and wooden weapons being used against you, with no sharp edges or point it is used for blunt force trauma.
More commonly associated with the art of esscreama,the rattan cain batton is is used for close quarter fast moving blocking and strinking although light they are very strong and commonlly break bone on impact!
